Driving a 1998 Ferrari F1 car

Ever wondered what it’s like to drive an F1 car? It’s one thing to be talked through it by an F1 driver, but F1 cars are fairly normal to F1 drivers. This is the perspective of self-described “normal bloke” Richard Meadan, a man with no racing experience who was given the opportunity to drive a 1998 Formula One Ferrari F300.

The car featured was the spare car used by Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine during the 1998 World Championship. It was designed by Rory Byrne and powered by a 3 litre V10 engine that produced somewhere in the region of 800 bhp.
